New York Institute of Technology Athletics placed 134 student-athletes on the East Coast Conference (ECC) Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2018-19 academic year. Student-athletes who earned at least a 3.25 GPA for the academic year earned the honor. Additionally, New York Institute of Technology men's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis, and Esports teams had the highest GPAs of any team in their respective sports in the ECC for the 2018-19 academic year.

More than 100 students completed New York Institute of Technology's rigorous Internship Certificate Program during Spring 2019, earning valuable hands-on experience and developing skills in a wide range of work environments.

More than 1,250 Eastern Connecticut State University students received their diplomas in the 2018-19 academic year. Eastern's commencement ceremony occured May 21 at the XL Center in Hartford.

The Empire 8 Conference honored 77 Elmira College student-athletes on its President's List, which recognizes student-athletes who earned a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher during the spring term. In addition, a total of 11 EC teams were named to the E8 All-Academic Team for possessing a GPA of 3.20 and higher.

Claire M. Lintilhac lived and worked in China for fifty years, often as a midwife in remote areas of rural China. She spent the last several decades of her life in Stowe, Vermont, and her gifts have long supported scholarship of Asia at UVM, primarily through a lecture series that bears her name. This award is given to the outstanding seniors in Asian Studies based on their academic performance and commitment to the study of Asia.

Cole Porter's 1930s Jazz Age classic "Anything Goes" sets sail July 11-28, featuring a love triangle that leads to hijinx on the high seas - as well as dance numbers choreographed by acclaimed tap choreographer Shelley Oliver. Porter's beloved score includes such classic tunes as "I Get a Kick Out of You" and "You're the Top."

All students who were honored achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.5. An additional 11 students were recognized for demonstrating exemplary co-curricular engagement at Eastern.

Eastern Connecticut State University's Psychology Department held its annual award ceremony on April 29. Twenty-six students were inducted into the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology and 14 students were honored for achieving high and highest distinction department honors in the major.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Ten up-and-coming psychology students at Eastern Connecticut State University were selected to participate in a Summer Research Institute (SRI) from May 20-24.

437 students have been named to the Plymouth State University Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

Eastern Connecticut State University's Department of Health Sciences held its fourth annual award ceremony on April 25. Sixteen students were inducted into the Phi Theta Delta Health Sciences Honor Society and 27 students were awarded for their academic achievements in the major.

Displays of research and creativity dominated the Eastern Connecticut State University campus on April 12 for the annual CREATE conference. CREATE stands for "Celebrating Research Excellence and Artistic Talent at Eastern," and is the university's premier undergraduate conference.

Lasell College used a five-run rally in the sixth inning to defeat Albertus Magnus College 6-5 in the first game of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) baseball doubleheader, but the Falcons came back with a 14-2 victory in the nightcap at Rochford Field.

The Lasell College baseball team scored 15 runs on 21 hits Friday afternoon to sweep a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) baseball doubleheader from Norwich University, spoiling the Cadets' home opener at Garrity Field.
